Dynamic Duo

Female Ruby-throated Hummingbird and a Hummingbird moth converging on a stalk of Bee Balm.
The male Ruby-throats have apparently departed for Mexico and points south.
I expect the females will soon follow as the Bee Balm and other attractants are beginning to wane.

Fantastic! We were lucky to have some hummingbird hawk moths in our garden this year, but there is no chance for any hummingbirds any time soon. We're too far North.
