Seven-spotted lady beetle (Coccinella septempunctata)

For the August Challenge -"It Caught My Eye".

This shiny red lady beetle on yellow tansy flowers really caught my eye. A non-native species introduced (several times) to control aphids, it is now fairly well established and has spread.
