Étendu au maxi, l'échelle n'arrivait pas à la poutre supérieure, alors elle est soutenue par la
porte de droite, qui s’appuie en son tour sur un bout de latte assez douteux vissé à la poutre. Je
reste attaché à ma ligne de sécurité - cette latte est là depuis très longtemps.

The ladder wouldn't go any higher, so had to ride against the top of the RH door, which in turn rides
on a dodgy bit of lath screwed to the top beam. I stayed hooked onto my safety line - that lath has
been there a long, long time.

The horizontal is screwed onto the RH door. Next step is to do the same thing at ankle height so that
we can trip over it.
