Budding lotus

Taken in a lotus pond at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in Northeast DC.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly unsharp.

Well shot. The eye immediately goes to the main subject, the bud. However, the soft background of a leaf also places the subject.
