I purchased this "named" hibiscus via the Internet 3 weeks ago. A droopy plant arrived in a small pot and had no flowers. Two of the other plants, that I purchased at the same time, did not survive being shipped in the extreme heat. However, after transplanting this one to a larger pot, I woke up a week later to discover a most beautiful yellow flower. This is my first photo of it. It is the most vivid yellow hibiscus that I've ever seen!!! Hopefully, the new plant will continue to bloom this striking color.

Although I summer most of my hibiscus plants outdoors on the deck, I've decided to keep this rare beauty inside the Solar Room to lessen stressing it with still another change. So far, only one flower, but that flower is huge & absolutely gorgeous. Over the years, I've grown a lot of different yellow hibiscuses https://pbase.com/britestar/hibiscus. This one definitely is a real attention getter.
