A stream once flowed beside the dying willow trees.
Today (2022), the stream and the willows are now totally gone.

After the recent string of July 2022, 100-degree days and no rain,
there is a fear that our area may be headed toward a new period of drought.
Climate Change is affecting almost everyone.

A lover of willow trees, my spotting them dying like this made me stop my car and sadly take this photo of change. This "roadside distraction" marked the end of an era.
