1510 Church -1886

Galveston Island. Texas

Built in 1886 for John Darragh, this house was moved from 1823 Postoffice Street, a few blocks away.
It was one of three tenant houses owned by Darragh.
I was fascinated by the tree stump, and how the tree had grown into the old fence.

Very nice photograph I am always impressed how they can relocate a home and make it look like it was always there.
The tree becoming part of the fence is amazing.

classy comfort here, and yes a wondrous union of tree and fence...smart comp to show just enough of the house to define its style and character..

Great shot of this beautiful old house, and I agree, that tree stump is definitely fascinating (and unusual looking). V.
