Motherhouse of the Congregation of the sisters of Elisabeth is the Classicist building, located at the Salt Market.
It was built in 1863-1865 thanks to the efforts of the foundress of the Congregation, Blessed Maria Merkert.
The Congregation is involved in helping the sick, the homeless and the abandoned.
