The view out the rear window has definitely revealed water droplets, which are in focus from the centre of the frame upward.
As the screens at an angle, the droplets on the bottom part of the frame are out of focus. Cropping the base would
strengthen the image by removing the out of focus elements. The monochrome simplifies the subject.
