Galveston's Broadway Cemetery Historic District is actually composed of seven separate cemeteries, grouped together in six city blocks in the center of town.
In May, the historic cemetery district is beautiful with a blanket of yellow wild flowers covering the gravesites.

Some of the most famous citizens of Galveston and Texas are laid to rest in the Broadway Cemetery.
