After several days of unseasonably hot weather I witnessed this mass emergence of at least 50 baskettails at various stages of development. As I watched nymphs crawled over the rock to find a place to emerge, newly emerged yellow tenerals clung to the shell that once housed them, while darker individuals took ready for flight.
