Love this shot - when I was growing up there were sparrows everywhere, but now I hardly see any - which kind of chimes with what John said

I think sparrow numbers are falling over here as well. I certainly see far fewer than in the past.

Nice photo. Interesting. I see one or three here every year. They are more common in more suburban and city areas. I'm surprised they are in decline there and wonder why, too.
