Not too many people seem to share my Orcadian surname so I was pleasantly
surprised to see that a former Open Golf champion was married to a 'Margaret Bews.'
Wasn't able to find a direct link but oddly I did discover that the Auchterlonie family
appear to be related through marriage to my grandmother's Westwood family from Kingsbarns.
It's a small (golf) world!
