Dwarf ginseng (Panax trifolium)

Larose Forest

A small native plant of damp woodlands, considered regionally significant in this area. Despite being in the same genus as the more well-known Ginseng (P. quinquefolius), this species has no medicinal properties.

A delicate, pretty flower. Araliaceae? I can see the similarity in leaf form to shrubs in the genus Pseudopanax, and other Araliaceae that I'm familiar with.
