Museum Of The History Of Polish Jews was opened on April 19, 2013, on the 70th anniversary of Ghetto Uprising.
It is located on the site of the Warsaw ghetto.
The museum features multimedia exhibits on vibrant Jewish community that flourished in Poland for a thousand years.
The building, a modern structure in glass and limestone, was designed by Finnish architects Rainer Mahlamäki and Ilmari Lahdelma.
