Frost Bitten 2022

Fruiting Crab Apple

From 84 degrees during the day, the temperatures then dropped down to close to 30 degrees overnight. That set a record setting low for the date. The unseasonably below-freezing cold also left disfiguring brown marks on the crab apple tree blooms (and buds) that were finally beginning to open. Oh well. That's the way of the natural world.

They still look beautiful Liz. We've been having similar temps.

The weather is crazy everywhere it seems, including here. Despite the frost damage the flowers that escaped are beautiful. V

This April's weather has been bad in my area for being out and about to do pictures,
temperatures well below normal and too much rain.
