Jumping Spider

Indoors on the Amaryllis

Go, little guy, eat any "bad" bugs that might hurt my house plants!!!

*****************

He was very shy once he noticed the one-eyed cyclopes of my camera lens.
Guess he was concerned that something might eat him.
However, with those long hind legs, he also sure could jump far away.

Wow! What a beauty! Spiders inside are not a bad thing because they are eating something. I let them be until the become quite large and inconvenient. I scoop them up and take them out of the house, hopefully before my wife notices. The spiders ride in on the firewood along with hibernating hornet queens that warm up and fly around in the house. It's not as bad as it sounds but sometimes it gets interesting. This is a great shot. Love the color and comp. V

Wow, what a beautiful little jumper this is!! My favourite of all spiders are the jumping spiders, and this is especially beautiful. Excellent macro shot with a very pleasing backdrop. V
