Thanks to a local jeweller I've finally accessed the stubborn case
of a pocket watch that was owned by my wife's Great Grandfather Gilbert Kerr.
It seems it's a Dennison 'Moon' watch made some time between 1901 and 1915.
Although these watches came with just a 20 year guarantee this particular one is still
working perfectly over 100 years later!
