hungry

Canada Place

Holland America's newest and largest ship, the Koningsdam carries 2,650 passengers and 1,025 crew, all of whom get hungry...luckily there are 13 restaurants, with a steakhouse,a Dutch Cafe, Italian and Asian foods among the choices...also, of particular interest for any pbasers who take a voyage, there is a New York Deli & Pizza..

It is like a floating city with many culinary choices. I really like the perspective. It looks enormous. V

Must be quite an undertaking to build, staff and provision. Your perspective shows well the staggering size.

Looks like they're pumping food into the lower decks ! and where does it all end up - ugh. You wouldn't catch me dead on such a vessel. Great shot tho' :)

A floating city. Love the wide angle view with its great DOF.

Wow! a little over two and a half passengers per crew member, the service must be great.

Wonderful perspective. Hard to tell what’s the ship and what’s the building.

Thats a lot of people one one boat, not for my liking but like the image of it.

LOL @ Bill...me neither, and I never want to go on one, but I'd not let the chance of togging one pass me by!!

I'm with Walter on this subject. Perfect POV to get it all. V

Cool perspective from that well chosen vantage point. I prefer just taking pictures of cruise ships.

I had a hard time figuring out where the ship was because it looks like buildings on both sides of the picture. Shot from a good POV, and interesting information as well.

I've been on many cruise ships, the last one had 1800 passengers and that was too many for me. I guess I'm in the minority as they keep increasing the capacity.

Not sure I'd want to share recycled air with 3,675 other people. It is an impressive piece of engineering though.

I have never been a cruise - but I do get hungry so this may be for me...
