This stream was a very short distance from our campsite. I find it very enjoyable camping near mountain streams and the calming sound of the running water. This stream is also popular for fly fishing for small native trout. Smoky Mountain National Park has an incredible number of mountain streams and rivers along with the many spectacular mountain vistas and opportunities for viewing wildlife. This park is also rated as the most visited National Park in the United States. My oldest son and I have spent a great deal of time in the Smokies and hope to continue to do so. Just try to avoid weekends and holidays if you plan to visit.
