This camera was also marketed as Prinzflex M1, Chinon CX, GAF L-CX, Revueflex 2000 CL and Revueflex 3000SL. There are parts identical to the Ricoh Singlex (M42) which suggests a collaboration with Ricoh.
At the time Olympus marketed their first SLR, an M1 but had to change it to OM1 due to Leica citing a copyright infringement. I suspect the same happened with the Prinzflex having to change from M1 to CX
