Eastern chipmunk (Tamias striatus)

Fletcher Wildlife Garden

As soon as the weather warms up enough, even snow is on the ground, chipmunks are roused from their winter semi-hibernation and out and about.

This looks like one of our neighbors. Nicely framed with detail and beautiful lighting. We enjoy watching the chipmunks in our yard but due to hawks in our area, the chipmunks don't offer many opportunities for photographs. When they are out they move very quickly. Nice capture. V+
