The lilies were growing around a small pond at the San Diego Botanic Gardens, and the light and shadows at that time of day were terrific. I waited for a while and took a bunch of shots to try to get a bee in the frame to add interest. Of all the captures I liked this one the best because I thought the shadow cast by the bee was a real bonus.
