When a birch, stand with its roots in the water,
it crumbles slowly.
The underground network;
a maze of runners and wires, form a network of minute signals,
grope back and forth,
unseen, they cling to each other, merging together
and support when the other is going badly,
can no longer save her.
Because
the others also have their roots in the water.
