Nesting Pair of Bald Eagles (4584)

Boone County, Iowa

We have the good fortune of having a pair of nesting bald eagles not too far from here. Not seen in this image but they do have the brood patch.
The unusual thing, I think, is that this nest is right along side a highway; I would have thought it'd be a bit more concealed.
