The shape of the trees indicate the very harsh, windy conditions at this location. The strong, directional lighting, as indicated by the shadows of the
trees, seems to lack the expected contrast. It would appear that the details hidden in the shadows have been lifted making it appear unnatural.
The clouds provide interest and appear threatening as a storm looms in the distance.
