Great subject and well caught. The viewer's attention is immediately grabbed by the child. The image has been taken in uneven light which has caused some highlights. These can
be easily fixed in Camera Raw / Bridge. I suggest you first select AUTO. Then adjust your sliders highlights, shadows, and whites. Next grab the brush tool and paint across the washed out
areas of the clothing and then adjust the brush sliders - exposure, highlights, shadows, whites. Finally, crop down from the top to just above the hat and also crop out some of the
area on the left of the image so that the child is positioned to the right of the image. Should you wish to go further you could darken the background so that the highlights are toned down.
