Orange-footed Scrubfowl

one of the megapodes (literally meaning big feet), also known as mound builders
This species is quite common in vine-thickets and some rainforests in northern Australia.

somehow head and feet seem out of scale with each other...bit feet means big claws, all the better for such high-wire antics..an intriguing bird well caught..
