There are around 4 great gray owls in the Ottawa nd surrounding area. Two in Ottawa, one west of Ottawa and one across the river in Gatineau. UPDATED: At least 3 more but NOT confirmed by me.

I just need to see one but will search for the second one, seen on the weekend. This one has been known for some time but people gave up looking for it from what I had been told.

The good news is I don't have to make any long drives to see a great gray owl even though I know of a few locations.
