sweet tea-ice cubes clinking and sloshing - out the the porc
h just to sit a spell while jawin' ...telling stories
& jokes, hashing over the latest gossip,
poking fun at one another and reminiscing about the 'good ol days'?
And honestly, even if you didn't have a porch, anywhere would do.

It's really about the art of conversation that we are
sorely missing out on these days.
Having a place like a front porch just adds another
layer of intimacy, warmth and richness to such a simplistic,
but essential pastime.
