The Gammeter Orthopter an early attempt at a flying machine built by Harry C Gammeter in 1907, it was powered by a 7hp engine and it's bamboo and silk wings flapped at 75 beats per minute
It reportedly made a brief unmanned tethered flight but further development was discontinued
