Macro shots like this are all about focus; what's in focus and what's not. In this case, I think the depth of field could have been
increased by a smaller aperture size, thus allowing more of the insect to be in focus. I see from the EXIF data that the setting were 1/15 sec shutter,
f 9.5 and ISO 640. My suggestion is that, to get more depth of field, an increase in ISO would have been possible with a smaller aperture size.
