Grumpy pigeon

I had never seen pigeons this color before, and there were only a few of them at Gravelly Point, but compared to the other, more normal looking ones, I thought they were pretty.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by PBase are decidedly
unsharp.

He does have a frown on his pigeon face. Maybe because he's only standing on one leg.

This one is beautiful, and beautifully photographed too. Pigeons have been bred for racing and for show and some of them are amazing. V

We have lots of this color and others. My father had pigeons like this one for contests. They were transported to France and the released. The fastest dove won the contest
