After exposing what I think to be a short-tailed shrew, this fox chased the shrew across the frozen snow;
Went nose-to-nose with the shrew; then, picked him up and carried him back to approximately the very same spot where he found him and burried him in the snow.
I expected the fox to chomp it, but instead, I don't believe the fox ate the shrew(?)
