20220122 2292 Coyote.jpg

Our Yard, well nearly

Taken through our kitchen window. For several days now we've seen one Coyote pass behind our house on the other side of our fence along a path usually used by dog-walkers. This time my wife called to me and said there were two. Luckily my camera was handy in box below the kitchen table and I was able to get a few shots. In this shot they are walking on a snow-covered bike path leading to a creek that runs behind and beside our property.

Wow, he looks pretty big. I would say he has fleas too by the sparseness of his coat at the base of the tail. A little too close for comfort. Great catch!

Must be exciting to find a coyote so close to your home. Nicely captured in the snow.

Nice window capture especially a Coyote looks like you have a good amount of snow to deal with.
Nice detail for a window photograph.

Very cool visitor. I've not seen one on our property, but I know they're around.

good catch....your eastern coyotes seem larger and heavier than the scrawny ones out west..

Hunger causes animals (including humans) to do things they wouldn't normally do - nice capture here!
Pierre Martin23-Jan-2022 01:01
the search for easy food bring them closer, splendid picture!

Lucky you! This one is beautiful. Winter is a more difficult time for these (and most) animals and they have to hunt for food more hours in the day than they normally would.

Great shot of this coyote, but too close to home, and not encouraging that one has been seen on a dog walking path.

Incredibly close to home...They are getting braver.
