Oshiroko

Jindai, Tokyo

Oshiroko is a kind of hot soup made from sweetened aduki beans, served with mochi rice cakes and some salty/bitter seaweed on the side.
This is in ur favourite cafe, and the perfect place to end our walk through the nearby temple on a cold day.

I have canned sweetened adzuki beans in the house. I wonder if I can make this with what I have at home. It'll be a few days till we can get out of here to go shopping. They take a long time to clear our roads of snow!
