NGC 2736 - The Pencil Nebula

NGC 2736 ("The Pencil Nebula") is a small part of the larger Vela Supernova
Remnant, appropriately located in the southern constellation of Vela. It is
part of the shock wave moving out from a supernova explosion approximately
11,000 years ago (and currently moving at 400,000 mph).

Red, Green, & Blue: 3 x 15 minutes each
Hydrogen Alpha: 23 x 30 minutes
Oxygen III: 25 x 30 minutes
(total exposure = 26 hours 15 minutes)
