For the January Scavenger Hunt Challenge subject of Animal. Fionn (black and white cat) and Xanthi (orange and white cat) flew from Vancouver to Ottawa a few years previous to this 1997 photo. Xanthi, however, was a very well-travelled cat! He came home with us from Greece, then went to British Columbia for a few years with us, and came back across country to Ottawa. He was about 4 weeks old when we found him, and lived to be 18 years. Fionn came from the local BC SPCA and lived to be about 19. Two great cats who loved to snuggle.
