Old Tree In The Forest

An old Ash with a bit of a grimace. Even the woodpeckers have abandoned it.
I expect it will soon nourish the ground from which it sprang, but there is beauty still.

like the beauty in old ruins it does stand out, and radiates character...the entire scene is attractive too, all the more so with those few straggling leaves..
