regrets

Stanley Park

it's natural to regret the falling of leaves and their Autumn colours, but for works crews on cleanup duty the regrets are of a different nature...there are lots of lawns in Stanley Park, and lots of trees

They are supposed to leave the leaves.

Interesting contrast between those who can play and those who can’t. V

This is a great image.
A lot of beautiful nature, some nice geometry in the middle and super study of these men and the toils!

Clearing leaves can be an arduous task...using leaf blowers allow larger amounts to be collected and sucked up if blowers have the vac feature, easing the job....V

Regrets, I've had a few (leaves)
But then again too few to mention (thanks to the wind)
I did what I had to do (grabbed my rake)
And saw it through without exception (and bagged them all)
And did it my way...(to the compost pile)

My yard is mostly trees, I have no regrets not raking.

I think they need a bigger truck!

I hope they compost them

Love the contrast between work and play in this scene, and there's lots of work to do here.

Well captured David, but I don't think the work crews have reasons for regrets. They have a job and get paid. Perhaps they should regret that the buggy's payload is so limited. Extending the sides might make for more efficiency and less wait-times. LOL

They won't get much more in that little buggy-thing...good to see peeps out playing tennis though :o)

It's that time of year! A busy crew and so well photographed. V
