A Handley Page V/1500 a four engined (two push, tow pull)heavy bomber
The first three models produced entered service with 166 Sqn RAF in October 1918 based at RAF Birchan Newton, when getting ready to taxi out for their first mission on 11 Nov they were stopped by the news of the armistice being signed.
A total of 40 V/1500's were built serving with 166, 167 and 274 Squadrons RAF. An addition 22 ere produced as spares. The V/1500's in RAF service were replaced by Vickers Vimys by mid 1921
I don't recognize the base where the photo was taken as the hanger in the background is a bit unusual for the era.
One aircraft J1936 met an unusual fate being consumed by termites, a problem with wood and canvas aircraft in the tropics.
