The Houston Museum of Natural Science sponsored the trip we took to Egypt. And coincidentally, they opened up a traveling exhibit about Ramses the Great this weekend. So we decided to go. There was a virtual reality show that was very interesting to us because it went inside Abu Simbel, the Temple of Hathor and Nefertari's tomb, all of which we had recently visited. The exhibit was pretty good. It included some stuff that wasn't related to Ramses. Prof. Zawi Hawass was present to sign copies of his accompanying book on Ramses II. Of course we got a copy. It was a good day.
