Coming or Going

This feels appropriate as today our state border opened up to other states after 435 days of being separated. Families finally able to be together, but this poster also reminds me that my great grandparents came from other shores to our land and never again saw loved ones back home....make the most of what we have, see the best of what's to come. Stay positive that the world will keep turning...

Blimey, 435 days - that's a looong time :o(. I like this poster though and your words have never rung truer than now

Wise words! We took a P&O liner when we moved to Oz way back when! Great poster. V

Nice image but your words of wisdom are wonderful and true.
Many folks came here and never to see their friends back home again.
Like the low fare posted.

Great that you can finally move around there. I can't believe 400+ days. Sad. Love the old poster and colors. V

Great news ! But I can imagine what it must have felt like to leave their homeland, their family ties for such a long journey often without return!

Very true. I love the light and this gorgeous old sign. COVID has certainly taught us that we need to not take what we have or who we have for granted and assume we can always make up for time not spent now with people we love later. ~BV~
