Final airshow display flight of RAAF's F/A-18 Hornet.

This event was the final public display of the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. Service commenced in 1985 after the first 2 aircraft were flown across the Pacific Ocean in a 15hr flight. They replaced the Dassault Mirage III fighter. After 36 years of service, they are being replaced by the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II
This aircraft last day of service is 29-Nov-21.

7 to be retained by museums in Australia, the rest sold to US & Canada for replacement aircraft and spares.
