MY GRITS RECIPE
Cup of water
1/4 Cup Low sodium V8 Juice
3 sliced mushrooms
Several Cranberries
Small handful Greens
1 TBSP Nutritional Yeast (or dried cheese)
Chopped Celery
Garlic
Chives
Onion
3 TBSP pre Cooked Quinoa
1/4 Cup Grits
Combine everything except Quinoa and Grits to the liquid. Bring to a boil.
Add grits and quinoa
Lower temp and cook 7-8 minutes
Let stand a few minutes
Enjoy with multi-grain toast smeared with ripe Avocado.
This recipe combines protein, vegs, vitamins, and fruit.
