The Bardenas Reales Natural Park (42,500 hectares) is an unusual, semi-desert area with a spectacular almost moon-like landscape, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. The dry landscape consists of high plains, ravines, rocks and hills, some in the form of sand castles, others in straight table mountains. It is quite strange that you have entered a desert area less than an hour's drive from the green valleys in the Pyrenees! Especially at twilight, with a pallet of colors, you see the most beautiful landscape pictures. Not surprisingly, the area has been a source of inspiration for painters and writers and the scene of commercials, music videos and films, including Game of Thrones, "Airbag", "Acción Mutante", "The Pride and The Pasion"
