Revisit to this famous town nestled between the edge of Hallstätter See and the towering Dachstein mountains.
Hallstatt is Austria’s oldest and possibly most photographed village in the Salzkammergut Lake Region. It is known for its production of salt, dating back to prehistoric times.

If one wished to design particular beautiful place it would this what they'd copy. Salt production is OK but I would think it would be tourism. However who wants hordes of tourists. A beauty, Tom. "VV"
