On the morning this image was captured, my son and I found the mountain peaks incased in low clouds. That meant a change of plans. Looking for something different we drove to Waterrock Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Cherokee. When we arrived the sun was trying to break through the clouds. This just happened to catch my eye.
