A Haiku by Chora, who lived between 1719 and 1780, he was apparently friends with the great haiku poet Buson. Found in an anthology of Haiku, translated by Stephen Addiss, Fumiko Yamamoto, and Akira Yamamoto. The photo is of a Great Spangled Fritillary on Common Milkweed.
