Problems

Take weeds for example,
Like how they will overrun
your garden and your life
if you don't obliterate them.
But forget about the weeds
-what about leaves?
Snails use them as handy
bridges to your flowers
and hordes of thuggish slugs
will invade - ever thought about that?

From 'Problems' by Julie O'Callaghan

Love the poem and can relate to it. The slugs feast on our dahlias every year. Like your charming image very much! V

As an avid gardener, I can tell you that ALL of it is a problem. A constant battle with weather, bugs, disease, soil conditions... I love the poem. I can relate! Photo is very nice. Has a vintage color film feel. Like your pots and the one flower that has drooped over the side. V

O'Callaghan seems to be feeling the strain of gardening...your glazed pots might help against slugs, maybe snails too..such a pleasing image..

Love the shot and the poem so perfect for the various weeds popping up - look like the ones between my paving stones. V
